LOCAL GROUPS

Well as it stands at the moment there is nothing round here really for LGBT people except a group at the Orson Wells in Tunbridge Wells that meets most Thursday nights. HOWEVER, we here at Equality4All aim to change all of that. We want to create a group where ALL inc. hetrosexuals are welcome in a relaxed friendly environment. Somewhere we can meet new people from different backgrounds, somewhere we can speak freely and somewhere where we can be ourselves without having to worry about what people are saying or thinking, not to say being worried of being attacked for being ourselves.

We want the community to come together to share experiences and help people through tough times they might be facing and offer support (although we are not counsellors) we can only be the listening ear and give advice from our experiences. As we say everyone will be welcome even hetrosexuals who feel they would like to know more about the LGBT community or who may well have suspicions that a mate or family member might be LGBT. We also would like to encourage parents to come along to see what we are about and to share experiences they have had with their children and how they felt and coped!

Hopefully if the group is successful then we may be able to one year march in the parade at Gay Pride and have a stall informing everyone of what we are all about!
